Harold T. Barrett Junior High is a junior high school located in Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia, serving the children of Beaver Bank. It opened its doors in the school year of 1984-1985. The building itself is operated by Scotia Learning Centres and is currently being leased to the Halifax Regional School Board.
The HTB team mascot is a red bulldog that does not have a name. The school is located in Beaver Bank, located near the subdivisions of Greenforest, Barrett and Monarch/Rivendale. Other schools in the immediate area include Beaver Bank Monarch Drive Elementary School and Beaver Bank Kinsac Elementary School.
HTB receives new students from Beaver Bank Monarch Drive and Beaver Bank Kinsac. HTB only spans grade seven and eight because Lockview High School, it's feeder high school, takes grade nine students to relieve the overpopulation problem at Charles P. Allen High School.
